It is reported that more than 75% of the people in the United States, including leaders and general staff, have lunch at their desks 2-3 times a week on average. However, according to the Daily Mail, people who often eat at their desks are more likely to get sick.
A British public opinion survey and market consulting company selected 1000 white-collar workers aged 21-30 and a group of people aged 16-21 who like playing computer games to investigate their living habits. The results showed that 73% of white-collar workers often sit at their desks for lunch; 90% of game enthusiasts play games for more than 90 minutes each time, without any rest.
Food is not nutritious. When eating in the office, most of the food is takeout or self brought meals. Long delivery time, repeated heating and improper storage will greatly reduce food nutrition, and even endanger health. In addition, some experts pointed out that eating at the desk will make people lose the fun of eating and make them more vulnerable to the temptation of junk food such as snacks.
